Katarina Steul Zatkova and Francois Steul are architects based in Vienna, Austria. They have been working on diverse tasks, from small objects to large building complexes and territorial studies. 

They understand architecture as a complex discipline, which shapes the identity of a place and influences the public life.​​

KATARINA STEUL ZATKOVA

Katarina studied architecture at the University of Liverpool and the University of Cambridge, UK, finishing her Master in the studio led by Ingrid Schröder. She worked for Baumschlager Eberle Architekten in Hamburg and Kleihues+Kleihues Architekten in Berlin. She is currently teaching architecture and urban design at the Technical University in Bratislava.​​

FRANCOIS STEUL

Francois studied architecture at Accademia die Architettura in Mendriso, Switzerland, finishing his diploma in the studio led by Valerio Olgiati. He worked for multiple practices in Zürich and Berlin, including Wiel Arets Architects, 10:8 Architekten and Theo Hotz Partner Architekten. He currently works in collaboration with Jabornegg&Palffy Architekten in Vienna.
